First Aid Kit / The Lion's Roar

I'll leave it to a YouTube commenter who is way more clever than I am to voice my sentiments about First Aid Kit:

"Leave it to two sisters from Sweden to teach Nashville what they've been doing wrong for the last 30 years..."

That's exactly how I'd describe the music on First Aid Kit's new album The Lion's Roar, just released one month ago yesterday. Full of classic country and folk chord progressions, warm heart-melting vocal harmonies, and just very eclectic feelings: paralyzingly sad, bright and fun, melancholic, etc. This is for fans of Fleet Foxes, Neko Case, Ryan Adams, Icelander Lay Low, and really, honestly, anybody.
